Pictures of my New House
I'm moving into a new house next week. The house is five floors with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, marble floors, and only $675 a month! Crazy, right? But that's Vietnam! It's not quite finished yet so pardon the mess, but enjoy the photos below!
The front of the house
The living room.. Hi, Sophia!
Looking out the front doors from the living room
The kitchen
My bedroom
I'm really happy about the size of my bathroom!
Looking down the stairs from the top (fifth) floor
The house is directly behind the tallest building in Bien Hoa, Wooshu Plaza
And, finally, the view from the fifth floor balcony

Like your blog a lot Mike. $675 a month seems high for Vietnam, but then that looks like a brand new building only foreigners can afford. Is it meant for people outside the country to live while they work in VN? Just wondering:)
Thanks for the compliment! Actually, $675 isn't bad for five floors, six bathrooms, and seven baths.. not at ALL! It's a new area of Bien Hoa City, and these buildings are intended for businesses, not residential. But four of us will be sharing this house so it will be cheaper than the house I live in now - by 1 million VND!
Ahh man I understand, it's the whole house! Still a million VND works out to be about 57 bucks??? No matter that's a nice new place.
Yeah so total I'm paying 3 million a month for my part of the rent :) At my house now, I pay 4 million. $57 or so bucks cheaper a month! Other perks: it's a new development so there's security 24 hours and I'll be living with three other teachers instead of living alone. I'm excited all around about this move. Thanks for the comments!
