September 11th

This day always wears me out mentally because of all the thinking and coverage on tv, but I think back to ten years ago and a week to the day when I was at the World Trade Center towers. My friend, Dennis, asked me if I wanted to eat pizza at Windows on the World, which was the restaurant at the top of one of the WTC towers. I had a really strange feeling about them -maybe because of the bombing in 1993 - so I declined going up to the top. Who knew that a week later I nor anyone would have that chance again?
