A Trip the the Dentist

It's been a couple of years since I've been to the dentist for a checkup, and I had also heard about this laser teeth bleaching treatment from my colleagues at school. I decided to kill two birds with one stone and do it all at the same time.

The dentist is the father of a student at our school. Today, I went in for an exam, cleaning, polishing, and three sessions of teeth bleaching (complete with a laser) for only $72. Woohoo! I love this country!! I wonder how much it would cost back in the states.

I have to go back for two more sessions (next appointment is scheduled for Saturday at 8am), and my teeth whitening will be complete. The downside: No wine, coke, chocolate, or coffee for three days. I'll just take out my withdrawals on my treadmill.

And it should come as no surprise to anyone who knows me that I took a photo while still in the dentist's chair. Those protective glasses are hot, eh?

How's your smile after more than a month of laser bleaching? I'm sure your previous dilemma of depriving yourself from wine, chocolate and coffee has paid off. Looking at your picture, you appear so comfortable at the dentist chair, no traces of fear or whatsoever. A child, who would see your picture, can have the idea that going to a dental clinic is fun and not scary.

My teeth are significantly whiter, although I have a problem staying away from red wine - ha ha. Thanks for the nice comment :)

Glad you got good results after the procedure? Mind posting a photo of your significantly whiter teeth? The ideal teeth whitening for me is one that wouldn’t produce exaggeratedly white teeth, but one that looks naturally white only. =)

I think laser teeth bleaching is a nice thing to do for my teeth, but with all those banned drinks, I’d better think it over many times. Haha! You might have got that for $72 since your dentist is your schoolmate’s father. Just kidding! How are your teeth now? I’ll be waiting for your next post regarding that. :)

My problem is red wine! It's time to do another bleaching, actually, but the process isn't so bad. The whitening lasted a good year, and it was definitely worth it! It can last a few years if you stay away from sodas, coffee, red wine - all the things I have issues with... soooo... yeah, time for another round of teeth bleaching. Thanks for the nice comment. :)
